Please try again later. Wouldn't trade it for Nutella if you paid me :. I realize I may be in the minority here. A lot of people describe this as a "next best thing" sort of option, when you want Nutella, but are settling for a healthier option. I disagree, I like Nutiva's dark chocolate spread way better, full stop. I also always drain out the separated oil from the top when I first open a jar, and I find it improves both taste and texture.
I mostly eat it on whole grain toast, and it's a fabulous treat that never disappoints. It is marketed as vegan but contains milk solids 2. Palm oil 3. The taste is horrible. It makes me think of ground up cardboard with cocoa powder and artificial sweeteners.
I hate waste things but I just can't use this. I've tried to disguise it by mixing into peanut butter. The nasty texture and flavor still comest through.
Switched from Nutella due to milk content. This has lower sugar but is still tasty, and we can have one jar in our house instead of two one for vegans and one for non vegans. It's also good on toast, but little guy will eat it on strawberries, ice cream, just about anything you let him put it on.
Read a few reviews about runny or rancid taste, and I've never found that, and we've been through quite a few jars it's a monthly subscription item for our house. Hoping it was a fluke that's been dealt with but we've never had those issues. I do find that sometimes there's a bit of oil that rises to the top, and if you don't stir it back in by the end of the jar it can become drier as you're using the oil up unevenly. If it does this, just stir it back in and it'll be good the whole way through the jar.
Really glad we switched, since our last brand wasn't organic, non GMO, or vegan. We used to be nutella addicts, but when looking for a "healthier" alternative came across this spread. We love it! To us it tastes more earthy and not as sweet as nutella. Not sure if it is the cocoa or the nuts but either way the taste is really good. It reminds me of a dark chocolate candy bar with hazelnuts. The spread is a little runnier than nutella but we fined it is easier to spread.
Good value as an add-on-item. If you are looking for an alternative give this a try! Soo good. I did not know if i could throw another brand name under the bus so i covered it in my side by side comparison photo.

The powdered creamer is a better value than the liquid Coffee Mate creamer that you get in the refrigerated section of your grocery store. To me, it tastes exactly the same, and it's even more convenient since it doesn't have to live in your fridge.
Even though this is "Sugar Free", which really means nothing, there are ingredients in this, corn syrup solids for one, that have absolutely caused my blood sugar to raise as much as points!
For awhile, since I started using this creamer a few months back, my blood sugar has been elevated, even an elevated A1C and I could not figure out why until I checked the ingredients and did a self blood check of my blood sugar 1 hour after having nothing but coffee with this creamer.
It went up high and fast. Beware of anything that says "sugar free" if you are a diabetic because it will most likely cause your blood sugar to rise anyhow. I have stopped taking this creamer and no kidding my blood sugar has gone back down to the normal "controlled" range again. To bad because otherwise these creamers taste fantastic! I am a morning and sometimes afternoon coffee drinker. In the summer I will drink iced coffees at home.
This adds the right amount of flavor without being overly sweet, in my opinion. It mixes well and completely dissolves in a fresh cup of coffee. Also not having a ton of added sugar, this is great for diabetics.
I love the way the vanilla wafts out of the container when you open it! It just makes my coffee SO much more enjoyable! Will I say that it is improving my life? Without that sugar rearranging my molecules first thing in the morning, my mind is much clearer and better functioning! And, I know this may all sound super kray-kray, but I really think and feel like this! Looking forward to my first cup every morning not to mention the second one right after lunch!
